The weekend is almost over, and tomorrow brings a few changes.
- Diet Time. Its the best time to diet pretty much because I dont have to deal with not being able to get to the gym because of work! YESSS!
- I'm going to attempt to not drink until my birthday (10-22). Why not? Unemployment doesn't mean party time (unless there is an occasion, but even then, we'll see). This explains why i am drinking Red Bull and Three olives grape vodka right now
- Crafting begins. I have been putting some thought into crafts, and what i'd like to do. I've
started by hitting my local pumpkin patch and getting some really pretty pumpkins, one of which is a really pretty white. I brought them home and spray painted them black. See the images for how i plan to carve them... I dont plan to do that until mid-october so they'll last. I'd like to make some bed linens. Its hard to find really pretty bed linens that dont cost two weeks pay (not unemployment pay). And, because my boyfriend has a weird thing about those hand knitted reindeer sweaters, and has promised to wear one i buy him, i'm going to make it mysel
f. I fully expect him to get a LOT of shit. I'd like to make seat cushions for John's Patio furniture (the boyfriend). He hates the idea, so i'm all over it!
Who saw the debates? Without making this political, I'm a democrat. I supported Hilary, and feared these "changes" i kept hearing about from Obama, so thought about voting for McCain once she dropped out. But now with Palin on board, I plan to vote for Obama. However, the debates scared the piss out of me. They both bombed if you ask me, but i think McCain is one smug smile away from heart failure, which puts the farthest thing from a good vice-presidential candidate into the presidential seat. I'm soooo confused. Maybe the vice-presidential debates will shed some light on things.
I've also began "consolidating" my life, which means selling my furniture from my storage unit, and getting rid of the unit itself. Its an expense i dont need (and not a cheap one at that since it is in Chesterfield Valley). I'll attach some images of things that are left. Alarmingly, people like my taste. Almost all of it went in one day! Yay-ya!

Hey you! Love your blog. So sorry to hear about your job or lack thereof but I guess $hit...I mean, stuff happens and you just gotta roll w/it. Unfortunately, its hit us all at one point in time. Thankfully I know you and know that you'll be just fine in time, you are a survivor girl and you take no prisoners! haha As "they" say (whoever the F-they are), change is always good, though rarely easy, so good luck with all that. Much love old friend...you little jeeeewwwwwwwwwwe! :) ME
