More 9-5

I cant bring myself to look, but the comments made by friends leads me to believe I havent blogged in close to a month. I'm going to try to be a little better about it. A lot has been going on. We went to the Lake of the Ozarks about 3 weeks ago for the holiday, and had such a great time. I'm waiting for those pictures to come back still. We have been doing so much around the house, and its taking so much of our time. I have been working really hard on AVB Home, and getting accounts set up, as well as getting a work space for me up and running in the house. I'm getting ready to do some work on the kitchen cabinets, and we are constantly working on our landscaping. With all of the rain and storms, however, its been difficult. We are constantly being woken up in the middle of the night by our scared bulldog who doesnt like thunder and lightening, and then the morning brings flooded back patio, and our walkway's hasta and loriope are totally soaked with mulch!

We have spent a lot of time at our parents houses taking the dogs swimming in the pool, too, which they love!!! We took them on a camping trip to Arcadia Valley Missouri which was a complete laugh! I DO NOT like the idea of spiders and ticks, and totally lost my mind when after 15 minutes found a tick crawling on my foot!!! Plus, our neighbors on the campsite were quite certainly meth addicts, and kept everyone up all night, coughing and laughing, then yelling! Grrr! Good thing I drank a bottle of wine to help me sleep!

I've also started a boot camp at The Point at Ballwin Commons. Mon-Thur at 5:45am I get up and get my butt kicked by a retired Marine, who is QUITE attractive, so its motivating. Its only been two days, but my abs and shoulders are sore, and I'm pretty proud of myself. I keep running on my own, which I'll never quit, because I just love it!

Mom and I are starting a book club in september. We are stoked to do it!!! I've read so much lately. Check out my reads!
