Crazy Weekend!

This was probably the craziest weekend I've endured in a long time! It was complete chaos! First, and foremost, Ben went missing about 30 minutes after I got home on Friday. Somehow, the little sneak managed to slip past our neighbors as they were leaving for the night, and got locked in their house (un beknownst to us!). I was horrified for 5 full hours, thinking the worst, that he was lost and being eaten by coyotes. After hours of sobbing, at 10:30, our neighbor came home, and brought the little turkey home, where he was reunited with his mommy, and all was well once again! Upon getting the mail that day, notice came that Cause for Paws is an official Not for Profit corporation, and up and running. Everything is official, and Long Street Bar and Grill is on board to host the silent auction, and donate a portion of the events proceeds to Stray Rescue. Keep an eye out for www.causeforthepaws.me
Saturday I had to help at my parents house and came home to get ready for a co-workers wedding which was really pretty! We had a bunch of errands to run after and by the time we got home about 9, i went straight to bed. Sunday I had to let out my friend Kim's dog and he and Ben and I went to Queeny for a long walk! After getting home, John had some friends over to watch football while I worked on the website and posters.

Overall, a very long weekend, and this week will be more! John and I celebrate our 2 years being together Saturday (we met on the 15th though) which should be a really nice night. I'm looking forward to it!
