Near Completion, and updates

FINALLY! The backsplash is complete. That was a total pain in the rear, but we are really happy with the outcome. It was acutally easier than I planned. The hardest part is dealing with the mentally retarded people at the showroom. I dont recall bullnose on 3" side meaning anything other than that. Anyway. Now our kitchen its totally bright, and its getting on my dark nerves. So, I did a rather trendy thing and chalk boarded our pantry door. Its sort of fun, but i actually like that there is somethig dark in our kitchen. I thought it would be fun for any itty bitty friends to come over and play with chalk. We are getting dark counters next month (well, black) and I think that will be the perfect balance. Our kitchen has gone from a hodgepodge "fliphouse" to a service kitchen, sort of turn of the century-esque! LOVING.

Some great news with Cause for the Paws. Schnucks and Anheuser Busch are officially on board, just awaiting sponsor money. I'll be ordering T-shirts once we get it, so spread the word!!!!
