HelloFebruary!

Where the heck have you been?? Nevermind, I'm just glad you are here, as you are my "monday" on my road to mental/physical health. Today, February 1, is the start to the road to Wellville! I will document (try my best) my trek back to the land of the sane, and the home of the physically fit. My bottom grew enough, and it currently has its own zip code. This must end.
So, up for a challenge, I have decided to mingle a few detox/cleanse style programs into one Adriane-esq program. I am combining the Martha's Vineyard Diet by Dr. Roni DeLuz with Clean by Alejandro Junger, and a few additions of my own. I'm going to stay as "raw" as I can, by incorporating only protein shakes, juicing, and fruit and veggie salads. I'm going to give this all of february. Oh, no booze, whatsoever. Why is it the moment I have a SIP of wine, my ass swells up? Hmm....

Also, because we officially are going to be the new owners of a treadmill, I fully expect myself to clock in a good amount of miles. I'm kicking my butt back into shape. This isnt supposed to be easy, right? Nope, but I trust I can do it. But I'm not going to kid myself to think I wont be downing diet cokes like it's crack. That I have to keep in my diet. At least one vice, right?

My last weekend in January was actually pretty fun! Friday we had another couple over to cook the pheasant John shot while hunting. One bite was enough for me. Saturday, a bunch of girls went out to the Missouri wineries (i cringe writing this, but, they are actually fun, while the wine is eh) for Stephani's 30th birthday. We had a blast, and I gave my liver one last kick in the balls. Sunday, I did a bunch of cleaning, walked the (non gimpy) dogs, and went out to dinner with john. GOod time. We watched the Road and I encourage you NOT to do the same. Disgusting, horrific, and soooooo depressing. I had to walk away from it 1 hour in. While the movie was well done, it was a depressing topic, and was way too graphic for me.

I'm counting down the days until Charlotte's cast comes off (8!!) and our little "thumper" can play again. She is such a trooper, and gives the Pit Bull such a good name. OH! We did send away her DNA (spit) to be tested to see what all she is mixed with. I expect it back end of the week, or next. Cant wait! Another bonus already in February!
