How do people do it? How can someone enjoy staying home, with no kids or something meaningful to do, and NOT want to kill themselves? We have had to remove all sharp objects and take all shoe laces out of our shoes in fear I just may use them... End of week 2 of job searching and I am listless. I have had a few bites, but obviously, nothing had panned out. Dont get me wrong, i have been out of work almost 8 weeks, and only JUST started to look. Why you ask? Have you NOT been reading my blog? Well, I went from 50-0 real fast, and need to work. I need stimulation. I need an income, and i need NEED need to go shopping. I need to spend money. I need a facial. I need to see extra $ in my bank account. Please LORDY! I'm starting to despair, though people tell me to calm the F down.
Parents went to Vegas this weekend, and I am house sitting the 2 dogs, cat. We'll see how this works...It is mine and John's 1 year anniversary together saturday, so we are planning to bring all of the animals (sans the loco kitty) to our house for the weekend. One big happy, furry family. Oh, after Saturday I'll let you in on what I got him for a present. But, the gifts we give one another generally are in the sporting goods category...so romantic. Better than chocolate!
One thing i AM excited about is I think we (well, john's payin') are getting a fun car!! An old Ford Bronco which is totally jigged out. The previous owner put a bunch of fun stuff in and on it, and we are thrilled to have something to knock around town in when the snow starts falling. John's car is basically a snow plow, and mine needs new tires. And, until I get a job, thats the least of my concerns.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I have some naughty plans up my sleeves for 2 imparticular girlfriends of mine...har har har!!!
