I was bouncing around on a few blogs today looking for Birthday inspiration, and came accross a blog I occassionally visit Someday I'll Get there as i think her cynical writing is refreshing, and all too familiar. So, its near the end of the month, and I've made a personal resolution to change my crappy attitude in February. However, there are a full 3 days left, and some change, so I'm taking this opportunity for some good, bad, and ugly.
Good: Our puppy charlotte's broken leg is clearly healing as she is walking on it for the most part, so we picked up Ben from my parents after a long weekend with his cousin Stink face (dogs)
Bad: Has to keep the cast on for another week and a half, and get more X-rays to make sure she doesnt need surgery ($$$)
Ugly: Aforementioned Ben has not reacted well to his return home; crapped on guest bed and bit my finger ripping off my cuticle.
Good: New Years resolution to budget and save money. Decided to open new checking account at commerce bank for said resolution. Love my banker, love the bank!
Bad: Current account charged $450 in NSF fees when health insurance and one other automatic withdrawl tried unsuccesfully 8 times to withdrawl funds. One would think the bank would not allow this: silly me, they do.
Ugly: New bank cannot open account as this is a ding against me for 30 days.
Good: Bought a juicer with Christmas Gift card to juice a meal a day to get my RDA of veggies and fruits. So far so good...
Bad: No funds make purchase of fruits and veggies very tricky
Ugly: Eating Chardonnay instead.
I could go on here, but this is making me a little depressed. So, instead, I'll leave here hoping you'll wish my new attitude good luck. I know John's hoping for a change. He's had to remove all sharp objects and shoes laces from the house.
By the way- I took a chance and wrote an email to Cesar Milan about Ben. Let you know what happens!
